General comment regarding age of participants

There is no clear definition between kids, children and adults. Depending on maturity and skills they could participate in one or another category. General guidelines are:

Kids - the youngest participants, 9 years old and younger; occasionally age sub-categories are applied for them (example: running)
Children -  from 10 to approximately 13
Adults – children from 13/14 usually compete with adults

Badminton

Very popular. Standard badminton rules applied.

Men, women, boys and girls play in separate categories. A draw takes place at the beginning of the tournament. Participants are divided into the groups. The best players advance to play offs.

A coordinator may propose doubles at the end of the tournament, if time allows.

Basketball

The most popular sport discipline. Typical 3x3 street basketball rules are applied. Team consists of 4 players. A draw takes place at the beginning of the tournament. Participants are divided into the groups. The best teams advance to play offs.

Women and children’s tournaments are organized separately.

In addition:

  • Men compete shooting three-pointers;
  • Women and children - free throws;

Cornhole

Men, women, boys and girls play in separate categories.

The game is played one-on-one. The game board is placed at a distance of 8 m (in the children's game - 4.50 m). Each player throws 4 bags and tries to make it into a hole in the board. If the bag falls into the hole, the player gets 3 points. If the bag remains on the board - one point is awarded. The score of a round is obtained by counting the difference between your score and your opponent's score (e.g. score 3:1, so the winner gets 2 points). Players switch sides, the winner starts the next round. The first player to score 21 points wins (15 points in the children's game).
